During the kitchen sessions, students are involved in preparing a multi-course meal using fresh produce harvested from the garden.  Learning not only focuses on cooking techniques, kitchen safety and hygiene, co-operative group skills and communication skills are also developed.  Students are encouraged to explore new foods and flavours.  The culmination of each session involves the class sitting together to share the dishes they have prepared.   All recipes are shared on the school web site.
